I think the the most useful program on my mac is Quicksilver. But in my opinion the menubar icon wasn’t fit into its place well with its too complicated design so I created a better one (at least for me). If you like it, just download my version with the source files in a single zip package and extract the .png files from it to /Applications/Quicksilver.app/Contents/Resources on your mac.
